Biography
Golnaz Nayerahmadi’s litigation practice centers on class actions and complex multi-plaintiff actions involving Crown liability, institutional abuse, professional liability, pharmaceuticals, product liability, mass torts, industrial disasters, securities misrepresentation, and consumer protection. She has represented clients in motions, applications, trials, and appeals across Ontario and Quebec courts, plus the Supreme Court of Canada. She maintains a commitment to pro bono work through the Innocence Project on wrongful convictions. She co-authored Class Actions in Canada: Cases, Notes, and Material (3d Ed) and chairs the Ontario Bar Association Class Action Executive. She is ranked by Chambers & Partners (2024–2026) and repeatedly by Lexpert, and has received Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch (2023–2026) for Class Action Litigation. She holds dual common law and civil law degrees from McGill University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction from the University of Toronto (Ethics, Society and Law Prize).
