Rochon Genova successfully defended a family of four against Air Canada’s repeated attempts to appeal a Small Claims Court judgment arising from the loss of four pieces of luggage on a flight from Bogota, Colombia to Toronto in August 2016. In July 2019, the Ontario Court of Appeal refused Air Canada’s leave to appeal, and the airline was ordered to pay costs to the passengers.
